According to the wall street journal apple has begun the production of a smaller alternative iPad. The "iPad

mini" will have a 7.85 inch liquid crystal display. This will be a response to other companies making smaller

tablets offered by their rivals Google, Samsung, and Amazon.

iPhone 5 Alternatives

Microsoft has recently started to release smartphones. Now that they do they have been working on a phone

with windows 8. Many think this and other new smartphones could be a better alternative rather than getting

a iPhone 5. Another anticipated phone is the Samsung Galaxy S3. Like the iPhone the S3 can record and

playback in 1080p quality. The S3 also has multi-shot mode which allows you to take multiple pictures at

once. There are many alternatives to replace the iPhone 5 such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X, HTC Evo 4G LTE, and Droid Razr Maxx.

What I did over the summer

Over the summer I went down the shore to Wildwood, NJ. Before going there I went to Toms River to see

my relatives. When I was down the shore I went to the beach and the boardwalk. I went to the peer and

rode the rides there. I had a fun time there and hope to go back next year.

           After ignoring it for two years apple has released new updates about the iPod touch. The new iPod

touch is only 6.1mm thick. It weighs 88 grams and is made of anodized aluminum. It has a longer retina 

display and has a dual core A5 processor. The iPod will have the same camera technology as the iPhone 5. 

Video will now be able to record in 1080p and will have the iPhone 5's dual band 802.11n network and will 

have Bluetooth 4.0. The iPod 5 will now be the first iPod touch to have Siri. The new iPod also comes in five 

colors that include White, Black, Blue, Yellow, and Red. The iPod Touch 5 we be available to get in
